StudioLive Series III 16R is a compact and powerful rackmount digital mixer from PreSonus that features 16 XMAX mic/line inputs, two RCA inputs and six FlexMix outputs, which can be configured as aux, subgroup or matrix mixes. It is powered by the FLEX DSP engine with up to 18 channels, 10 mix busses and 130 simultaneous processors including Fat Channel models with vintage-based compressors and EQ. The mixer also functions as an AVB stagebox with up to 32×32-channel network I/O, and features a USB interface design for 36-channel recording and playback. For direct recording, there's a built-in stereo recorder on SD card and Capture software for Virtual Soundcheck. All mix parameters can be controlled remotely from PC, iPad or Android via Universal Control/QMix-UC and comes with Studio One Pro as well as a range of used effects and plug-in suite. Designed for flexibility in both live and studio use, the 16R combines tunability, networking, recording and control in one rack space.
