Two Notes The Crunch

Two-Note's new line of tube preamps in pedal form has many unique features. Le Crunch combines the best sounds from many of the classic British amps Channel A has all the "in your face" attitude of the late 60's plexi panel amps. Channel B has more gain and a fat, distant sound that wouldn't be out of place on the biggest stages. In Hot Fushion mode, you're in high gain land and the pedal can handle subdued guitars with no problem while maintaining attack and string separation. The Le Preamp pedals can be used as a regular overdrive/distribution pedal right into an amplifier or as a preamp into a power amp. You can also activate a speaker simulator on the output if you want to use the pedal right into a sound card or out in the PA. However, the absolute best result is obtained if you connect the pedal to a Torpedo CAB, Live or Studio for the absolute best speaker simulation on the market. If you want to work in a DAW environment, Wall of Sound III (WoS III) is included, which is Two-Note's fantastic speaker simulator plugin.16 pcs. The Preamp pedals all have a tube (Ruby 12AX7AC5 HG) that has Two-Note's own "True High Voltage Design" which means that the tube is operated with a voltage of 200 Volts. this means that you get all the dynamics, compression and headroom you can expect from a tube-driven preamp. The pedals have 2 completely independent channels: Channel A has Gain, volume, treble and bass. This channel has a more vintage-inspired sound where the EQ is "pre gain" Channel B has gain, volume, treble, bass but also a sweepable mid. Channel B has more gain and the EQ is located after the gain stage which makes it very powerful. You can also combine the channels in a very interesting way: Cold Fusion means that you mix the channels in parallel. Here you can combine the cleaner sound in channel A with a more distant light in channel B without losing clarity and attack. Hot Fusion means running the channels in series. Here you can use channel A to boost channel B and use both channels' EQ to shape the sound how you want. Thanks to the fact that the pedals have both Midi in and out, the pedals can both control other products that have midi or be controlled by e.g. midi pedalboards etc.
