What is the Beta 52A best suited for?
It is ideal for the professional musician who wants to mic up their bass drum,
bass amplifier or acoustic bass. It has both the quality and durability to
be used on stage and in the studio.
What are the features of the Beta 52A?
The super-cardioid pickup pattern limits interference from other
sound sources on stage and reduces feedback. The frequency response is perfectly
tailored for bass instruments with a frequency range of 20Hz to 10kHz and
with a small gain at 4kHz to allow electric basses and bass drums
to cut through the mix.
The Beta 52A is also available as part of the DMK57-52 Drum Mic Kit, which
includes three SM57 microphones, one Beta 52A microphone, three A56D
drum mounting systems, and a lightweight and durable carrying case.
