Each fader has a resolution of 10 bits (1024 steps) and is accompanied by a digital scribble strip display for clear channel identification. A large data dial, eight function buttons and four programmable user buttons provide quick access to functions such as track management, automation, transport controls and plug-in parameters. The Session Navigator facilitates timeline navigation and markup management. FaderPort 16 is compatible with most DAW programs for Mac and Windows, including Studio One Pro, Logic Pro X, Cubase, Pro Tools and Ableton Live, via HUI and Mackie Control protocols.
